One bent spoke shouldn't stop the whole wheel.
When a single bill throws the month out of true, SpokeCoverage passes your request for $100 to $5,000 to lenders we partner with. We are a referral site. We do not lend, and we do not sell insurance.
How a request turns
Three short turns of the wheel. The first is yours, the second belongs to the lender, the third is yours again.
- 1
You fill in one form
The amount you want, your contact details and how you get paid. A few minutes on a phone.
- 2
Lenders take a look
Partner lenders check it against their own criteria. Some will pass, and that is normal.
- 3
You judge the offer
If one comes back, read the rate, fees and dates. Sign only if the numbers fit your next paychecks.
Check these spokes before you ride
- Who you borrow fromThe lender, never SpokeCoverage. Your agreement is with them.
- What it costs in dollarsThe finance charge and APR appear in the lender's offer. Short loans are rarely cheap.
- When it comes dueEvery payment date, plus any fee for paying late or rolling it over.
What people ask us
Why is coverage in the name if you don't insure anything?
We cover a gap, not a risk. SpokeCoverage is a referral site that hands loan requests to lenders; it sells no insurance policy of any kind.
What should I have ready?
Proof that you are 18 or older, income that arrives on a regular schedule, a checking account under your own name, plus an email and phone number you actually check. A lender may ask for more.
How soon could funds arrive?
If a lender approves you and you accept, some send money the next business day. Bank cut-off times, weekends and holidays can push that back.
Can anyone promise I will be approved?
No one can. Each lender applies its own rules. People with thin or damaged credit are welcome to ask, but a request is only a request.
What does SpokeCoverage charge me?
Nothing. Lenders pay us, not you, and you can walk away from any offer without owing a cent.
Who sets the price of the loan?
The lender alone. It must show the APR, the fees and every due date before you agree, and you can say no at that point.
The kind of wobble we hear about
- A flat tire on the way to a shift.
- A cell bill that has to clear before the line is cut.
- The landlord's late fee on top of rent.
- A field trip deposit due Monday.
- A thin grocery week before the deposit lands.
If one of these sounds like your week, one request shows whether a lender can help. You are never obliged to accept.
